Here is a point of view on this topic which created so strong reactions.
We could condense all the experiences of life as a way to live situations, thoughts, feelings and sensations without inner resistance.
Without inner resistance does not mean passivity. It means clear perception of the facts as they are, clear perception of the inner reactions to the situations, and clear perception of the right moment when the personality starts to react.
This reaction of the personality encounters the question of likes and dislikes.
Likes and dislikes are like brightness and darkness. They are always related.
Likes and dislikes are not linked to perceiving. They are a reaction to what is perceived.
By observing this reaction, the understanding arises that the reaction is fed by the inner attitude of rejecting or accepting.
Situations emerge freely if they are neither refusing, nor accepting.
Situations are not good or bad.
They are situations.
The preference is based on memory.
We like what creates a good feeling, and reject what creates a bad feeling.
These reactions have nothing to do with situations, but only with memory.
Is it possible to receive the facts without the weight of memory?
Here is the challenge proposed by the meditation.
When the breathing is free from the mind controlling, it becomes smooth, slow, regular, dense and homogeneous.
Only such kind of breathing really feeds the body.
The rhythm of the breathing is like a mirror of the whole inner posture.
Through listening, the body finds its own wisdom.
Through listening, the being is one with what he is looking for.
Through listening, rejecting and accepting are dissolving in a natural ease of being.
Supreme ease, fluency, harmony and transparency are not something which can be reached.
How could we reach what we are?
The recognition of unease, blocking, disharmony and opacity means a direct intuitive knowledge of their opposites.
Seeing the disharmony is like a coming back to our fundamental harmony.
From this quality of harmony, emerges an action adapted to the situation.
Silence, listening, receiving, acting and expressing have the same perfume of oneness.
One by the quality of being which underlies movement and immobility.
Quietness is not a concept.
Quietness is revealed at the right moment when the agitation stops.
The agitation stops when it appears unuseful.
The agitation appears unuseful when the searcher realizes that he is what he is looking for.
By listening to the listening, the objects are resorbed in their silent background.
By seeing the seeing, the objects are dissolved in the formless light.
Presence is objectless.
Attention has no purpose.
Love is one.
